We love the King George Inn and have been making it our go-to place to stay in Roanoke for 10 years. Lynn did a masterful job having the home restored and updated. Jack is a wonderful, creative chef. And although this is a BnB, dinner is available with advance request. Close to everything, the home is ideally located so one can easily get to know Roanoke. Still not sure of the area? Just ask Lynn! She's a wealth of knowledge about the history of Roanoke as well as the history of this stunning home that you, too, will come to know as "our place to stay in Roanoke.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous property. The house is sunny, clean, large (8+ square feet) and the bedrooms are comfortable with each having their own bathroom. Lynn was unexpectedly called out of town but Jack more than made up for her absence. He was interesting, funny and a great cook. Best of all, he treated our dog like royalty. She had lots of treats and didn’t want to go home. I highly recommend this B&B which is saying a lot since I don’t normally like this type of lodging. I have to say that this experience has changed my views on B&Bs and we will be back

We absolutley loved our stay. The home is gorgeous, beautifully decorated with antiques. Jack and Lynn were delightful and had so much knowledge about the area and shared life stories. We could have chatted with them an entire day. Our room was gorgeous and very clean (as was everywhere). Our breakfast was fantastic, of special note the fried green tomatoes from the garden..yum! We will be back!
